![]() Switching to a different version of the ODK aggregate VM, several reboots. What you have you tried to fix the problem? I think this will be difficult to reproduce, as the problem is likely in my network setup. The problem is, that on my IIS I can access my page only by using localhost in the address. I want to provide installation link so I need to update location with an IP address otherwise I wont be able to install it (because localhost is translated into computer name and its not accessible). What steps can we take to reproduce the problem? Im trying to publish ClickOnce application and test it locally. ODK Aggregate VM 2.0.0 / ODK Aggregate VM 1.7.1 What ODK tool and version are you using? And on what device and operating system version? ![]() I want to use the VM to have a cable-free way to put new versions of the survey on tablets running ODK collect, and to take the data off. The area I will work in has no internet access so setting it up through a cloud server is not possible (I would also be hesitant regarding privacy issues). Type sudo nano /etc/ hosts and press Return. To open Hosts file on Mac, which is hidden, you need to use Terminal: Launch Terminal. I also tried ODK Aggregate VM 1.7.1, the problem is exactly the same. To edit Hosts file Mac features is not a difficult although completely non-obvious process. PHP also goes with MacOs and in the 7.1 version if you are on the High Sierra. If you see It Works then the Apache is up and ok. Open your Safari (or any browser) and go to localhost. If I change the network type from NAT to bridged in VMware nothing changes (even after several restarts of system/VM), which is odd as it should replace the localhost address with the new address within the network. User password will be requested, so you need to type in the password and then press Enter. When I get to the Welcome to ODK Aggregate VM v2.0.0 screen the address displayed is I cannot access this address on my Mac (Mojave). Or if you want to listen on all address bind to 0.0.0.0. You should be able to change the listen address to be 127.0.0.1 as opposed to the name. My guess is that it is binding to ::1 (IPv6 localhost). When I import and run the VM through VMware Fusion Pro 11 everything resolves fine. How are you binding to the address in your app. You should enter this in the address bar of the other comps. If your IP address turns out to be 127.23.45.66. else just put your ip address form the other computers connected to the network. I am trying to run an ODK aggregate server through the VM. You put your IP address allocated by the networks DHCP server (if it exists) instead of localhost it should work.
